Wonder what's been going on with these warm afternoons? Yesterday I went to the Living Room inside of the W for a some Mediterranean Caipirinhas and a light lunch. Light turned in to a cheeseburger, but it was a good one. Our chicken caesar was too doused in dressing to enjoy, but our bartender was so sweet I didn't care. These new digs are fresh and bright - The daytime jaunt was nice, but at night it's definitely the perfect place to grab a drink and a bite before heading out on the town ... or up to Drai's ( coming soon..)
I grew up in a small town in Ohio and experienced the type of enchanted childhood you only read about. I had family dinners every night with meals prepared by an amazing Betty Crocker esque mother and ( I )won 'Candy Making' at age 9 for 4-H in the Belmont County Fair. I have distinct memories of the moments I started to find my imagination. I began to see the world in a way I knew was different and special. When I was 20 years old I moved to Los Angeles and have been here ever since, living in my dreams.
Cheers to continuing my beautiful heritage of showing love through food, imagination through pictures, and adding a special twist (of lime..) on life.
